Claus C. Simonsen
In 2014 Simonsen started his cooperation with Bruunmunch to create new products under the name Bruunmunch and Simonsen. The PLAYchair collection and STONE Coffee tables are the first results of this fruitful cooperation. Claus C. Simonsen is a licensed Architect from School of Architecture in Aarhus and has, for several years, designed buildings, in all scales, both in Denmark and abroad, mostly for Henning Larsen Architects in Copenhagen. He has however always been intrigued by furniture design and by establishing Generous Design he realised that potential. Claus C. Simonsen has designed furniture for brands such as; Normann Copenhagen, Softline and Eilersen and lamps for Frandsen Lighting.
PLAYchair- Swing
The PLAYchair is a versatile Danish designed chair created for modern living and crafted from sustainable, high quality materials. Designed to adapt effortlessly across spaces from dining areas and living rooms to offices and contemporary home environments it combines functionality with refined aesthetics.
Each chair is upholstered by skilled artisans who carefully select and hand cut the leather ensuring precision and consistency in every detail. The shell is formed from 12 mm pressed FSC certified beech veneer and padded with 20 mm Oeko Tex certified cold cured foam providing a balanced and comfortable seating experience.
Finished in Oeko Tex certified protected leather the surface has a smooth and refined look with a subtle texture. The material is water resistant durable and resistant to dirt and stains making the chair practical and easy to maintain designed to be used and appreciated over time.

PLAYchair Counter
The PLAYchair Counter and Bar is a Danish designed bar stool crafted from sustainable high quality materials and available in two seating heights 65 cm and 75 cm. With its light and elegant expression it fits naturally into modern Nordic interiors.
Each stool is upholstered by skilled craftsmen who carefully select and hand cut the leather ensuring precision and consistency in every detail. The shell is made from 12 mm shape pressed FSC certified beech veneer and padded with 20 mm Oeko Tex certified cold cured foam providing a comfortable and supportive seating experience.
The stool is finished in Oeko Tex certified protected leather with a smooth refined surface and a subtle texture. The material is water resistant durable and resistant to dirt and stains making it both practical and easy to maintain. The frame is made from 16 mm powder coated steel adding strength and stability to the overall design.
