The PLAYchair Tube is more than a chair — it is a design statement that combines timeless Danish aesthetics with everyday practicality. Designed by Bruunmunch in collaboration with Claus Simonsen, its sleek, contemporary silhouette is carried by a 16 mm powder-coated steel tube frame that adds both strength and lightness. The frame is stackable, making the Tube ideal for dynamic dining spaces and flexible living — at the dining table, in the kitchen, the home office, or anywhere style and comfort matter equally.

Comfort is built into every detail. The sculpted shell is formed from 12 mm FSC® certified beech veneer and padded with 20 mm Oeko-Tex® certified cold-cured foam, creating a seating experience that is both supportive and inviting. Every chair is upholstered by skilled craftsmen who hand-select and cut each piece of material for a flawless, refined finish — choose between protected leather with a soft, subtly grained surface that resists water, dirt, and stains, or one of our Oeko-Tex® certified fabrics for a softer, textural expression.

PLAYchair Tube is available with or without armrests — and thanks to its flexible design, armrests can be added later if your needs or your space change. The curved, contoured shell integrates seamlessly into interiors from minimal to expressive, as much at home around the family table as in a design-conscious workspace.

Like all Bruunmunch furniture, the PLAYchair Tube is a conscious choice: FSC® certified beech veneer, Oeko-Tex® certified foam and upholstery, and a recyclable steel frame combine lasting durability with low environmental impact. The chairs are packed two per box in FSC® certified cardboard to minimise waste and optimise transport, with standard delivery typically 4–6 weeks.
