Der EMO-Sofa wird von erfahrenen Handwerkern gefertigt, die traditionelle Techniken verwenden und so ein hohes Maß an Handwerkskunst und Liebe zum Detail sicherstellen. Das klassische dänische Design ist perfekt für das Wohnzimmer und lädt zu gemütlichen Momenten mit Decken und einem Feuer im Kamin ein. Der Sofa kann auch für kommerzielle Zwecke genutzt werden und eignet sich perfekt für Hotelinterieurs und Loungebereiche in designbewussten Unternehmen
EMO wird mit Nozag-Federn im Holzrahmen hergestellt. Die Kissen für Sitz und Rücken bestehen aus Oeko-Tex-zertifiziertem, kalt gehärtetem Schaumstoff mit einer Daunenauflage, die ein fantastisch weiches und komfortables Sitzerlebnis bietet. Die schöne Doppelnaht des Sofas, die entlang der Armlehne verläuft, wird zu einem Detail an sich und trägt dazu bei, den exklusiven Ausdruck hervorzuheben.
Das EMO-Sofa besteht aus feinstem Anilinleder, das Eleganz und Komfort verkörpert. Das weiche Leder fühlt sich nicht nur weich an, sondern wird auch mit dem Alter schöner und entwickelt im Laufe der Zeit eine einzigartige Patina. Anilinleder gilt im Allgemeinen als die beste Art von Leder für Polstermöbel, da es die natürlichste, atmungsaktivste und langlebigste Art von Leder ist. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Arten von Leder ist Anilinleder nicht mit Pigmenten oder anderen Chemikalien bedeckt, sodass es sein natürliches Aussehen und seine Textur behalten kann. Anilinleder gilt oft als das qualitativ hochwertigste Leder und wird im Vergleich zu allen anderen Arten von Leder als Premium-Leder angesehen.
EMO ist auch in einigen der hochwertigsten Stoffe des dänischen Textilherstellers Kvadrat erhältlich. Das EMO-Sofa wird in Europa von Hand gefertigt und mit Sorgfalt hergestellt. Der Rahmen und die Beine des Sofas bestehen aus FSC-zertifiziertem Holz. Die Kissen bestehen aus Oeko-Tex-zertifiziertem kaltgehärtetem Schaumstoff und Leder, sodass Sie sicher sein können, dass Sie in ein nachhaltiges Möbelstück investieren.

As a natural material, leather requires looking after. If you care for the leather in the right way, it will become even more beautiful over time.
The care and maintenance of leather will always depend on the specific way in which it is used, the conditions of use and how often it is used.
Basic Leather
Vacuum clean once or twice a month with a soft brush to remove any dust. Once or twice a year for thorough cleaning, use the foam from soap flakes stirred in warm water. Apply the foam with a dry soft cloth, minimizing any contact with water. Avoid bar soap, saddle soap, leather cleaners, household detergents or chemical products. Protect from direct sunlight, excessive heat and sharp objects.
Davos Leather
Only vacuum clean with a soft brush. Never use soap or water otherwise the velvety look and feel will disappear. Do not apply leather grease or soak the leather. Avoid any chemical products, such as saddle soap, other leather cleaners or household products. Protect from direct sunlight, excessive heat and sharp objects

Dakar Leather
Dakar is full-grain Aniline leather with wax on top. This finish gives the leather a classic look with a unique soft touch that adds a harmonious expression to the leather. Dakar is also one of the few leather qualities with Oeko-tex certification.

Davos Leather
Davos is an exclusive Aniline leather with a natural, rustic look and a sublime, almost velvety tactile feel. Achieved via a process of sanding and applying a special type of leather oil to the surface. At the same time, Davos boasts a matt look that’s raw with a touch of understated elegance.
Part of Davos’ extra appeal are the natural markings which bring a unique personality to each hide. Colour tones will also vary from hide to hide and within each individual hide. Watch for a beautiful patina that will appear over time as a result of the leather’s usage, exposure to daylight and interior lighting. With use, the leather will become shinier and smoother over time.

Re-Wool
Crafted using 45% recycled wool, Re-wool is a rich upholstery textile with a sustainable profile. The textile is partly made by reusing scraps from Kvadrat’s yarn spinners in the UK. It is designed by Margrethe Odgaard. The idea was to create a both honest and environmentally friendly – textile with a poetic feel by recycling leftover material from Kvadrat’s own production’, explains Margrethe Odgaard. Reminiscent of colourful stitchings on a darker background, Re-wool features exceptional depth of colour, creating a dynamic play on the textile’s surface when applied to furniture.

Studio Tolvanen
Hailing from Finland, Mika Tolvanen carved his niche in product design after graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2001. His exemplary work was recognized with the distinguished Bruno Mathsson Prize in 2012. Collaborating with various international clientele, he expanded his horizons by establishing Studio Tolvanen with his wife, Julie, in 2015. Their creative energies converge in a shared studio space, once a bakery, located in Helsinki's vibrant Töölö district.
