Modern movement meets timeless design in the PLAYchair Swing — a sculptural dining chair with full 360-degree swivel functionality. Designed by Bruunmunch in collaboration with Claus Simonsen, the chair is crafted with a strong focus on comfort, sustainability, and everyday versatility. Whether placed at the dining table, in the kitchen, home office, or hallway, the PLAYchair Swing adapts beautifully to both lifestyle and space.

Swivel Function Meets Everyday Freedom

The PLAYchair Swing is designed to move with you. Its powder-coated steel frame features a discreet swivel mechanism, allowing the chair to rotate smoothly in any direction. Perfect for active dining areas or hybrid home workspaces, the swivel function reduces back strain and enhances flexibility — without sacrificing elegance.

Comfort and Craftsmanship

Comfort is built into every detail. The shell is formed from 12 mm FSC-certified beech veneer and padded with 20 mm Oeko-Tex certified cold-cured foam. Upholstered in soft, protected leather with a smooth texture and subtle grain print, the surface is water-repellent, stain-resistant, and easy to maintain — ideal for everyday use. All upholstery is hand-cut and fitted by experienced craftsmen to ensure a precise and refined finish.

With or Without Armrests — You Decide

The PLAYchair Swing is available in two configurations: with or without armrests. Thanks to its flexible design, armrests can be added later if your needs or space change. The curved, contoured seat shell offers ergonomic support, while the clean lines allow it to integrate seamlessly into a wide range of interior styles — from minimal to expressive.

Sustainable by Design

Like all Bruunmunch furniture, the PLAYchair Swing is made with a commitment to responsible sourcing and long-lasting quality. The beech veneer is FSC-certified, the cold foam and leather Oeko-Tex certified, and the steel frame is recyclable. It's a conscious choice that combines durability with low environmental impact.

Packaging and Delivery

The PLAYchair is packed two per box in FSC-certified cardboard, minimizing waste and optimizing transport. Delivery time is typically 4–6 weeks from order. This efficient packaging ensures a safe, responsible delivery experience from workshop to your home — without compromising on quality or presentation.
