The Lobster Footstool, designed by the Danish design duo Lund & Paarmann, completes the sculptural elegance and comfort of the iconic Lobster Chair. With its warm walnut veneer shell, soft black semi-aniline leather, and matte black steel base, this version exudes a modern, sophisticated expression with a strong visual presence. It’s the perfect balance between natural warmth and contemporary edge.

Handcrafted in Europe with meticulous attention to detail, the footstool reflects the same dedication to quality that defines the entire Lobster collection. The shell is formed from fine walnut veneer and padded with Oeko-Tex® certified cold-cured foam for long-lasting comfort. Upholstered in smooth black semi-aniline leather, the surface feels supple and luxurious while offering exceptional durability and depth of tone.

The matte black powder-coated steel base adds a refined graphic contrast to the organic walnut tones, creating a striking visual harmony. For a lighter, more refined look, the Lobster Footstool is also available with a satin chrome stainless steel base. Sustainability

The Lobster Footstool is handmade in Europe with responsibly sourced materials. The walnut veneer shell is made from FSC® certified wood, and the foam is Oeko-Tex® certified, ensuring both environmental responsibility and enduring craftsmanship.

Packaging

The footstool is delivered in FSC® certified paper-based packaging, designed to ensure safe transport while minimizing environmental impact.

As a natural material, leather requires looking after. If you care for the leather in the right way, it will become even more beautiful over time.

The care and maintenance of leather will always depend on the specific way in which it is used, the conditions of use and how often it is used.

Passion Leather

Vacuum clean once or twice a month with a soft brush to remove any dust. Once or twice a year for thorough cleaning, use the foam from soap flakes stirred in warm water. Apply the foam with a dry soft cloth, minimizing any contact with water. Avoid bar soap, saddle soap, leather cleaners, household detergents or chemical products. Protect from direct sunlight, excessive heat and sharp objects.

Lacquered Veneer

Molded veneer, finished with a layer of clear lacquer. Veneer is a natural material, and as a result, colors and grain patterns may vary from one piece of furniture to another. The surface develops a patina over time. Protect it from direct sunlight and sharp objects.

Never use abrasive cleaners, including steel wool and polish, on veneer.

For daily cleaning, wipe the furniture with a clean, damp cloth. Stains and dirt can be removed with a solution of warm water and all-purpose cleaner. Immediately remove excess water and dry with a clean, dry cloth to prevent watermarks.

Powder-Coated Steel

Regularly dust off with a soft, dry cloth.

Satin Chrome-Plated Stainless Steel

Chrome surfaces are resistant to dirt and liquids.

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Clean the surface with a dry or damp cloth wrung out in soapy water. Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
