PLAYdinner Round — the table that gathers everyone

At the heart of every home is a dining table — not just a functional surface, but a stage for connection, conversation, and celebration. There is something quietly special about a round table: with no head and no corners, everyone is equal, facing each other, sharing the space and the conversation. PLAYdinner Round, designed by Bruunmunch founders Henrik Bruun and Jacob Munch, is built for precisely that — the natural centre of a larger room, or the smartest use of a smaller one, from busy weekday breakfasts to festive dinners with family and friends.

Every table is made by hand in Denmark from continuous, solid wooden slats — each one carefully sorted so the tabletop appears harmonious, with fine, beautiful grain patterns. Crafted in FSC® certified oak or walnut and finished with natural oils that enhance the wood's structure and tactile quality, this is furniture rooted in Danish craftsmanship, where material, quality, and sustainability are inseparable.

PLAYdinner Round grows with your life. Available in Ø100 and Ø120 cm, the extendable Ø120 version takes up to two extension leaves — expanding from 120 cm to 170 or 220 cm and seating up to 8–10 people. The joints are made with such precision that they appear almost invisible, one of the defining details of this design. Extension leaves come in matching solid wood, or in black lacquered MDF for those who extend only on special occasions.

A table built for a lifetime deserves simple, proper care. We recommend regular treatment with Bruunmunch's own care series, developed specifically for our oil-finished solid wood tables, so the colour, texture, and warmth of the wood endure for generations. Each table is packed in FSC® certified cardboard for safe, responsible transport and shipped directly from Denmark, with standard delivery typically 4–6 weeks.
