Round dining table with extension
PLAYdinner Round is perfect for the customer looking for a round dining table. A round table can be optimal for interior design where the dining table must be in the center of a larger room or to utilize the space in a smaller one. There is something incredibly cozy and sociable about a round table, which gathers everyone around it in a different way than is possible with other dining tables. The dining table is handmade in Denmark with continuous, solid wooden slats, the wooden slats are sorted so that the plates appear beautiful and harmonious with fine grain patterns.
The extendable dining table can be extended with up to two additional plates. The joints on our extendable dining table are made very precise, this makes the joints seem almost invisible, this is one of the key details of this design. The classic timeless design in solid wood ensures that this table fits almost all classic chairs on the market.
The dining table is produced in Solid wood, because it is durable, and also because it provides a visual experience and adds a natural warmth to your decor.
The table is extendable with up to two additional plates which can easily be added extending the table from 120 cm. two 170 or a total of 220 cm. seating up to 8/(10) people.
The table can be used as a dining table at home, in restaurants or cafes or as a meeting table in design-conscious companies.
Sustainability
PLAYdinner tables are produced in a furniture factory in Denmark, in FSC certified oak and walnut, so you can be sure that you are investing in a sustainable piece of furniture.
Packaging
PLAYdinner tables are packed flat to save on CO2 emissions during transportation. The packaging is of course also made of FSC certified paper.
Solid Wood
Being a natural material, each wooden piece of furniture is inherently unique. Over time, wood undergoes a transformative process, its colors and textures evolve, bestowing the furniture with a beautiful patina. Grain patterns, knots, and color variations are all natural hallmarks of wood.
Daily Maintenance
Daily cleaning is easily done with a well-wrung cloth in clean water. Do not use chemicals, detergents, scouring pads, steel wool or similar, as these will discolour or damage the surface.
Care
It is important that you regularly maintain your oiled or soap treated furniture. We recommend that you treat your furniture 2-4 times a year or according to need.
Contact your retailer for care products or find them online at www.bruunmunch.com where you can also find a full treatment guide.

When nature inspires
We chose to do a photo shoot with Anders Schønnemann and Lene Ostenfeldt to create an identity that fits our roots from the West Coast. The visit to the Wadden Sea Centre in Ribe revealed how nature and its materials can inspire innovative design. The Centre's architecture, which integrates natural materials like wood, illustrates the potential of these elements to enhance modern construction and design. This setting shows that the raw, natural forms found in materials used for furniture, such as wood and stone, can lead to designs that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
The sculptural quality of the Wadden Sea Centre itself provides inspiration for furniture design, suggesting that elements of architecture can be abstracted to discover new forms and designs. Viewing these structures from different perspectives or in different lights can lead to creative interpretations that blend the man-made with the natural, enhancing both our physical and visual environments. This approach proves that when design draws on nature, it can achieve beauty that is both practical and inspiring.
