As a natural material, leather requires looking after. If you care for the leather in the right way, it will become even more beautiful over time.
The care and maintenance of leather will always depend on the specific way in which it is used, the conditions of use and how often it is used.
Davos Leather
Only vacuum clean with a soft brush. Never use soap or water otherwise the velvety look and feel will disappear. Do not apply leather grease or soak the leather. Avoid any chemical products, such as saddle soap, other leather cleaners or household products. Protect from direct sunlight, excessive heat and sharp objects.
Oiled Wood Frame
The wooden frame is treated with oil and can be maintained occasionally using our Bruunmunch care sets. If the wood appears dry or dull, it can be lightly sanded before treatment using the sanding sponges included in our care set—always sanding gently in the grain direction, as described in our care guide. After sanding, clean the wood with a soft cloth wrung out in clean water and allow it to dry completely.
When the wood is clean and dry, oil can be applied as needed. Always apply the oil with a cloth or sponge and never pour oil directly on the wood.
Important: Protect the leather during any wood maintenance. We strongly recommend dismounting the leather before sanding or oiling the frame to prevent accidental damage or oil stains.
Never use chemicals, detergents, scouring pads, steel wool or similar, as these will discolor or damage the surface.

Davos Leather
Davos is an exclusive Aniline leather with a natural, rustic look and
a sublime, almost velvety tactile feel. Achieved via a process of
sanding and applying a special type of leather oil to the surface. At
the same time, Davos boasts a matt look that’s raw with a touch of
understated elegance.
Part of Davos’ extra appeal are the natural
markings which bring a unique personality to each hide. Colour tones
will also vary from hide to hide and within each individual hide. Watch
for a beautiful patina that will appear over time as a result of the
leather’s usage, exposure to daylight and interior lighting. With use,
the leather will become shinier and smoother over time.
Type: Aniline leather
Origin: European rawhide, typically from Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Scandinavia
Surface: An elegant, matt surface with a somewhat velvety look and feel
Tannage: Chrome-free
Particular
attributes: A soft leather with velvet-like touch. A slightly raw,
rustic look with natural markings. A lovely natural patina will appear
over time, depending on exposure to light and conditions of use.
Solid Wood
We have chosen solid wood for the production of all our tables, as it adds warmth and coziness to your decor. Solid wood possesses a natural beauty and durability that gives your furniture character and timeless elegance. One of the advantages of solid wood is that it can always be sanded and maintained, so your product looks like new, even if it were to sustain damage. With our Bruunmunch care set, you can easily maintain the wood's natural shine and protect it from daily wear and tear, allowing you to enjoy your furniture for many years to come.
