PLAYchair Swing — timeless design, in motion

Modern movement meets timeless design in the PLAYchair Swing — a sculptural dining chair with full 360-degree swivel functionality, designed by Bruunmunch in collaboration with Claus Simonsen. The discreet swivel mechanism in the powder-coated steel frame lets the chair rotate smoothly in any direction, moving with you through the day. At the dining table, in the kitchen, or in the home office, it brings an everyday freedom that reduces strain and adds flexibility — without ever sacrificing elegance.

Comfort is built into every detail. The curved, contoured shell is formed from 12 mm FSC® certified beech veneer and padded with 20 mm Oeko-Tex® certified cold-cured foam, offering ergonomic support through long dinners and working days alike. The upholstery — soft, protected leather with a smooth texture and subtle grain — is water-repellent, stain-resistant, and easy to maintain, and every piece is hand-cut and fitted by experienced craftsmen for a precise, refined finish.

PLAYchair Swing is available with or without armrests — and thanks to its flexible design, armrests can be added later if your needs or your space change. Its clean lines integrate seamlessly into a wide range of interiors, from minimal to expressive, making it as much at home in a design-conscious workspace as around the family dining table.

Like all Bruunmunch furniture, the PLAYchair Swing is a conscious choice: FSC® certified beech veneer, Oeko-Tex® certified foam, and a fully recyclable steel frame combine lasting durability with low environmental impact. The chairs are packed two per box in FSC® certified cardboard to minimise waste and optimise transport, shipped with care from workshop to your home, with standard delivery typically 4–6 weeks.
